Profile

Lisa Wiertel is an award-winning artist and photographer.  She is a Buffalo, NY native that currently makes Richmond, Virginia her home.  She has been exhibiting her work since 2005 and started selling it in 2006 when her painting "Daffodil Dance" was chosen as the Gloucester Daffodil Festival event poster.  She has had the opportunity to depict through her art several different subjects including florals, pets, animals, landscapes, architectural landmarks and on occasion people.  Reference photos are usually her own or those of her friends. She resides in Richmond with her children and her dog, Luna.
